Autism Home Support Services uses evidence-based practices and qualified professionals trained in ABA therapy to provide in-home therapeutic programs that make a positive difference in a child’s development.
What is ABA? Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the most frequently recommended therapeutic discipline for children with autism. ABA focuses on finding a child’s natural motivation, breaking down skills into smaller tasks, and practicing those tasks until skills are mastered and generalized to multiple natural environments.
Common skills developed using ABA:
- Social Interaction
- Life Skills
- Challenging Behaviors
All AHSS programs are developed individually and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
All of our clients are seen in their home and/or in a preschool or day program setting, depending on the needs of the client.
AHSS’ clinical staff works collaboratively with each child’s entire therapeutic team (SLP, OT, PT, Schools, etc.)
AHSS is in-network and works with most major insurance companies (state and federal funded programs may be an exception).
